This piece is part of my new ‘Blueprints’ series. Have you ever used SunPrint paper as a kid? Well I did (and continue to). I have always been drawn to deep blue produced from the cyanotype process with the contrasting ‘negative’ space appearing in white. Think a film negative in the prettiest deep blue ever! This is my nod to the that. I mixed the perfect blue and knew I had to do something in a abstract-y pattern kind of way. There is nothing precise about this series. It is loose and flowing with pencil marks mixed in. These paintings are my artistic take on blueprints and the SunPrint paper I hope you used when you were younger.

I try my best to display the colors online as accurately as they are in person, but due to monitor calibration and all that jazz, there may be a slight discrepancy.

Due to this beauty’s size, it will be rolled and mailed in a tube.
