Hi! I am Kate Maulik - a contemporary abstract painter and pattern designer. I take inspiration from the everyday simple joys like taking my pup on trail hikes near my house or photos and inspiration I capture on my many trips and adventures with my two kids and husband.

I attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and SUNY Oswego in New York. I graduated with a BA in History, but art was always my passion.  My kids (both the two-legged and four-legged kind) and husband have led me on a wonderful journey with creativity and art always tagging along but taking a backseat to - Life. As my kids have started to grow and become more independent, I have found my creative voice with more clarity. You can find me most days in my home studio (along with my studio cat, Bear).
